Former cooperative winery with a history of over 100 years, housed within a fine Japanese farmhouse. In their own vineyards not far from the winery they practice organic farming methods. The name Kurambon comes from the word used by river crabs in the children’s story ‘Yamanashi’ by a famous Japanese author. The neighbouring Yazawa River is known for its small freshwater crabs.
